What we collect
We only collect personal information through this website in the ways described below.
- Contact form. When you send us an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), whether you're a landlord, development partner, investor or other, your message, confirmation that you've read this policy, and the date and time you sent it.
- Emails. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Please don't include sensitive information, such as details about your health, in your message. If we need anything like that, we'll talk to you about how to share it safely.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies or store anything on your device. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, so we don't need to ask for your cookie consent.
How we use your information

- To take steps you've asked for before entering into an agreement with us, such as discussing a property or an opportunity.
- To run this website, keep it secure and filter out spam.
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business and keeping our website secure and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We don't use your information for marketing, and we don't make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website, records the technical information above, and receives and stores contact form submissions. Netlify checks submissions for spam using Akismet, a service run by Automattic Inc.
- Our email provider [client to confirm] receives a copy of each enquiry, because form submissions are sent to our inbox at admin@handogholdings.com.
- Google provides the Manrope typeface through Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load it, which shares your IP address with Google.
- Lordicon provides the animated icons on our home page. Your browser loads the animation code from Lordicon's servers, which shares your IP address with Lordicon.
Where it's needed to answer your enquiry, we may also share it with other companies in the Handog Holdings group or with AH Supported Housing CIC, and we'll tell you if we do. We never sell your information.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers of your information outside the UK are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, in our form records and our inbox, for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If your enquiry leads to an agreement, we keep the information for as long as that relationship and our legal obligations require. Technical information is kept by Netlify for a limited period under its own retention policy.
How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. It's a static website with no user accounts, database or admin login, so there's very little personal information held on the site itself. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to reply to you.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email admin@handogholdings.com. We'll reply within one month.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information on this website, for example by adding analytics or a new form, we'll update this policy and the date at the top of this page.
